Discover how Newcastle University’s BEng electrical engineering apprenticeship can help enhance engineering skills in your organisation.

This free hour long taster session will give both prospective apprentices and their employers the opportunity to:

  • take part in two interactive activities delivered by programme leaders based on programme content:
    • interactive engineering mathematics
    • electrical and magnetic systems
  • meet current apprentices on the programme for a Q&A
  • discuss course content with the programme leaders
  • learn how our knowledgeable apprenticeship team can support your organisation to access apprenticeships, and apprenticeship funding

The programme starting in September 2025 leads to Level 6 BEng Product Design and Development Engineer Degree Apprenticeship from Newcastle University.

The four-year programme, which also has the option for direct entry into year two, offers on-the-job training bringing skills directly into your team.

Apprenticeships are fully funded for many organisations (95% funded for SMEs), so are an ideal way to develop your team and drive forward engineering innovation in your organisation.
